Ghetto First Lady?

Following on the heels of Dr. Holmes, I noticed the ghetto label being thrown at the First Lady, in my opinion, too often.  Take this picture for instance:

The internet had a field day with this!  I came across this photo on a site called reddit titled, "No matter who you are, when your wife says switch seats, you switch seats."  People can't handle an assertive woman, especially if she is Black or Latina. What is interesting about this photo, and all photos surrounding the first lady, is that this makes her an angry Black woman which is then read as a Ghetto Black Woman. This is reminiscent of the one drop rule:  one drop of ghetto blood in you then you are ghetto. 

Thinking back to the documentary, some folks had to hide the fact that they were from the projects because of negative assumptions. I argue that these assumptions are made about all Black people and we have to do what we can to show the world that we are not associated with the ghetto or ghetto culture.
